Welcome home!

Well, now I have a man to share my bed with. Or sort of a man. Never mind that he's furry and has four legs. He can cuddle just as well as Tonto. Ullrick came home tonight, and we're getting to know each other. He's been exploring all of the moving boxes that are still currently adorning the living room. He smells that Kitty has been there, and he seems to be waiting for her to jump out from behind the couch, even though I keep assuring him Casa Curiosa is his domain.

Now there's the little problem of what to name him...

Suggestions?

Tor. You know, as the strong, silent nordic god.

I still think Janne is a great name for a cat. I suggested Kafka in an earlier post also, and it still has a nice ring to it.

Perhaps you should call him Boise? :)

Sauron. Or if you want to stick to the scandinavian theme: Göran.

Usually the cat will name itself through looks and behavior. Just observe him for a few days and it'll probably come to you.

If my new kitten hadn't been such an obvious Soot I'd probably had named her Muscat.

Try an american-swedish touch. We like names put together here so... Kjell-Chuck? Or Ian-Åke ? The poor thing will get identityproblems later on, but maybe its worth it ;)

My uncle had a cat called Lord Nelson. I liked that, a cat should have a name that fits it's authoritive demeanor.

If I ever get one myself it will, of course, be called Master Bates :-)
